Neukölln is often said to be one of the hip and trendy spots in Berlin. Sometimes this is true, sometimes not. In the case of the café Katies Blue Cat it is definitely true. This is not only one of the most hip and stylish anglo-american cafés in the area, but also wildly popular. The reason for this is the laid back atmosphere and of course the incredibly tasty cakes and tarts. If you can not get enough of their delicious baked goods, you can pre-order your favorites or take something home.
Katies Blue Cat is wonderful! They know what they are doing for sure. As soon as you enter this little café, you just know that you have found something special. A great and cozy café with lovely interior design, great service, awesome coffee and amazing cakes and cookies. It is almost always packed, so you need a lot of luck to get a table or come at the odd hours. Even if you have to wait for table, it is well worth it.
