Deck 5 is a nice beach bar, which is located on top of a parking garage in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg.
Loads of white sand has been transported onto the rooftop, together with palm trees and other decorations to create a Caribbean feeling in the middle of the city. The view is very nice and you can take a break from the hectic life below. The crowd that comes here is mixed. Berlin hipsters are mostly not to be seen, but that makes it a relaxing place to hang out. The drinks and food are a bit pricy. It is a good spot to meet up with friends, have a drink and just relax. The music they play is pleasant and a nice background for watching the beautiful sunsets.
The place is big enough to find space, even if you come in a big group. Lounge furniture and deckchairs provide a lot of seating areas. If it gets more crowded on weekends you may have to stand.
