Fleischerei (literally butcher shop) is a very good German restaurant in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg, near Rosa-Luxemburg Platz. They have a lovely airy, clean and light interior design. But more so the food is great. They serve a lot of meat dishes of course, but they also have some fish and vegetarian dishes.

The menu varies, which is a good way of surprising the guests with new creations. As season changes, so do the ingredients.

The food is very good, especially the meat dishes. They are of high quality and well prepared. The staff is friendly and relaxed. The prices are o.k., considering the good quality of the products and also there is often the option to choose between small or big portions, which is a wonderful option that more restaurants should offer. On Friday nights and on the weekend you should reserve a table.
