The Grand is not only a bar, but a restaurant, a club and an event location. Even though the building has many rooms and events going on, the bar still succeeds in radiating a very intimate and cozy charm that is quite enchanting. The interior design is, as so often in Berlin, shabby chic but in a very sophisticated and elegant fashion. You can imagine the Great Gatsby sitting on one of the leather couches. The prices for drinks are upscale but the quality is good. The atmosphere in this bar is dignified and a little bit exclusive. The dress code is chic but still casual and most dress in Berlins favorite color black.

If you have not eaten in the restaurant prior to entering the bar, you will have to pass a doorman. Yes this bar has a doorman. But if you are smartly dressed, you will have no problem getting in. The design and the atmosphere of this bar are very nice and if you prefer a chic ambiance, then this is the right bar for you.
