Michelberger is a stylish hotel with a hip cafe and a cool restaurant. There are many, many restaurants in Berlin Friedrichshain and Michelberger is definitely one of the recommendable restaurants there.

The restaurant has a chic urban style that ranges between industrial chic and feel-good restaurant. Especially lunch, which is served directly on the silver food trays is a highlight. There are some restaurants that follow the fast-food trend and serve their food without plates directly on trays, but rarely can they combining good quality food with their hip concept. Michelberger does just that. The food is well prepared and is moderately priced. The waiters are young and some speak only English. 

In summer you can sit outside in a very nice courtyard. The restaurant has a welcoming and lively atmosphere and is ideal for meeting friends over lunch or after work.
