Ungeheuer is a cozy and lovely café/restaurant that makes you want to stay there for hours. The interior design is retro chic with a lot of vintage furniture. Plush sofas and old, battered tables are inviting and comfortable to sit in.

But it is not just the nice interior design that is great about this place, but also the food. They serve great cakes here, which are homemade, as well as wonderful breakfasts. To be appealing in the very competitive gastro scene, they have changed their kitchen concept in the evenings and now also serve very good dinner, which is not cheap at all, especially for the area, but worth the price. You can either order á la carte or you go for the 3-7 course menu.

Please note that it may take a while before you get your food. If you are in a hurry or a very impatient person, this is not the place to go to. If you don´t mind waiting for a bit and chatting with your companions, than this is a real gem.
