The Jewish Museum is a very interesting and informative museum. It impresses with its well thought out and spectacular architecture, as well as with its extensive and well-presented exhibition.  It is the biggest Jewish museum in Europe and attracts thousands of visitors every year.

The Jewish Museum has an outstanding architecture. It consists of two buildings which are interconnected. One is an old baroque house and the second is the new zigzag shaped building, designed by the American star architect Daniel Libeskind. When seen for the first time the unique and amazing interior design is striking. The architect managed to design part of the museum in a fashion that transforms history into experience. A truly exceptional experience.

Please note that the wonderful exhibition, that showed the over two thousand years long German- Jewish history, is no longer on display. A new exhibition will open in 2019 and until then you can only visit the Libeskind building and a small exhibition about Jerusalem.

At the entrance you have to go through a security check.
