The Bröhan Museum is right next to the Museum Berggruen. It is a bit off the beaten tracks, contrary to many other museums in Berlin that are clustered on or around the museum island. But it is worth a trip, especially since it is close to the Charlottenburg Palace, where you can take a stroll in the wonderful palace gardens and maybe visit the inside of the castle. The Bröhan Museum specialized in Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Functionalism.

Originally this building served as an infantry barrack. Since 1983 the Late Classicist building houses the collection of the private collector Karl H. Bröhan. He donated his collection to the city of Berlin on his 60th birthday. Apart from paintings and graphics you can see different objects such as carpets, lamps and other decorative elements made of various materials. If you like these style epochs this is a good museum to visit.
