This wonderful flea market is taking place right next to the beautiful public park Tiergarten. This is a wonderful surrounding for the many stalls that offer high quality antics and arts. The prices are pretty upscale, but the goods on offer are mostly worth it. The Berliner Trödelmarkt is the oldest and most well-known flea market of Berlin.

You can get nice lamps, furniture and paintings here. But off course there is much more you can buy. Mostly professional vendors are selling their goods here and they don´t like to bargain too much, but you can always try. If you are looking for the super bargain from someone who is just cleaning out his flat, you will have to go to one of the many other flea markets in Berlin. At the Berliner Trödelmarkt you will get high value for high prices. Even if you are not on the lookout for something special, coming here is always a treat. The goods are pretty and after you have finished your stroll around the flea market, you can take a walk in the beautiful park. It is advisable to take enough cash with you. Some of the professional vendors also accept credit cards.

The flea market is especially crowded in the early afternoon. If you really want to buy something you should either come early in the morning or just before the market closes. You will have more space to really look at the things on offer and bargain with the vendors.

The flea market takes place every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., no matter if the sun is shining or rain is pouring down. Since the market is taking place right next to the s- bahn station Tiergarten, it is best to use public transportation to get there.
