Yes, there is actually a vineyard near Berlin, who would have thought? The vineyard Wachtelberg is a true insider tip. You would never guess to find a vineyard close to Berlin but there it is. It is not a very big vineyard (6,2 hectares) but very enchanting. It is one of the northernmost listed wine regions in Germany.

If you are taking a stroll through it and then let your gaze wander towards the beautiful Havel river, you will feel an instant relaxation of mind and body. It is definitely a place worth seeing. If you are a wine lover you should buy some bottles to take home. But don´t forget to stop in the lovely winery where you can sit on the terrace and enjoy the view, while sipping a glass of wine and having a snack.

There a next to no tourists here. Mostly locals come here to relax with friends and have a chat. Therefore this place has a very special feel to it that makes it so very unique.
